LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a financial services company with a long-standing history of growth seeking an In House Counsel to join its collaborative in-house legal team in Portland, OR. The role offers exposure to domestic and international matters and a chance to advise across financial services, employment, privacy, corporate and commercial issues.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. and active bar admission with 6+ years of experience, preferably from a mid-sized or large law firm,

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar admission required.
• 6+ years of legal experience, from a mid-sized or large law firm preferred.
• Experience in financial services, employment, privacy, or regulatory matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal and regulatory matters across financial services, employment, privacy, corporate and commercial issues.
• Research complex legal developments and provide practical business guidance.
• Support regulatory projects and international expansion efforts.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and other critical documents.
• Manage corporate, employment, litigation and vendor contract matters.
• Partner with outside counsel and train internal stakeholders on developments.
