Job summary

• 5+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or real estate law.
• In-House Counsel experience preferred.
• Familiarity with transactional real estate and M&A work, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.
• Oregon State Bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
• JD required.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment law matters and manage litigation.
• Draft and negotiate contracts; oversee corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions.
• Provide strategic legal guidance and risk assessment to leadership.
• Collaborate with outside counsel.

In this position, you’ll take on a wide variety of responsibilities ranging from employment law matters, litigation management, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. The company’s leadership will rely on your advice and risk assessment as they make important business decisions.

Competitive candidates will be skilled in contract review with a strong understanding of the regulations applicable to retail, consumer protections, and employment law. The company will value your ability to provide strategic, practical legal advice and collaborate with outside counsel.

This is an in-office position in Eugene.
