Job summary

Boly:Welch is seeking an experienced in-house counsel in Eugene, Oregon to serve as the trusted legal advisor for a growing business with retail locations regionally.

You will handle employment matters, contract review, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, M&A, and real estate transactions, advising leadership and coordinating with outside counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or real estate law.
• In-House Counsel experience preferred.
• Familiarity with transactional real estate and M&A work, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment law matters, litigation management, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions.
• Provide strategic, practical legal advice and risk assessment to leadership.
• Collaborate with outside counsel as needed.

In this position, you’ll take on a wide variety of responsibilities ranging from employment law matters, litigation management, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. The company’s leadership will rely on your advice and risk assessment as they make important business decisions.

Competitive candidates will be skilled in contract review with a strong understanding of the regulations applicable to retail, consumer protections, and employment law. This is an in-office position in Eugene.
