Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Hybrid Import Specialist in the United States to coordinate the full cycle of ocean and air import shipments, ensure CBP/FMC compliance, and maintain precise documentation. The role offers base pay with bonus and full benefits, supporting a collaborative team culture.

You will work across carriers, brokers, and internal teams to meet customer timelines, while keeping meticulous shipment records in our system.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.
