Job summary

ITW Global Tire Repair is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage import logistics, reporting, and coordination with production and planning to ensure on‑time customer delivery. The role focuses on optimizing transport, building carrier relationships, and delivering accurate analytics to support business objectives.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, strong ERP/Excel skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Distribution, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Detail oriented with ability to dive deep to find solutions.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills; able to engage with internal and external partners.
• Proficient in ERP systems (JDE) and Excel with strong data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, and shipment frequencies to minimize costs.
• Coordinate import shipments with production and planning to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation providers for competitive market rates.
• Maintain Import Tracking Master as the primary supply chain communication tool.
• Develop timely reporting and analytics for key stakeholders.
• Oversee customer Direct Import program operations, including PO booking and inventory receiving.
• Support monthly supply chain reporting and RFQ processes.
• Review invoices for accuracy against negotiated terms and budgets.
