Job summary

Stratasys is seeking an Import Operations Specialist in Minnesota to coordinate international shipments, manage customs clearance, and optimize import processes for the U.S. market.

The role partners with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, finance, and compliance teams to ensure compliant, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods. You will maintain trade documentation, monitor shipments, support audits, and drive continuous improvements in SOPs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field (minimum).
• At least five years in international transportation, import operations, or customs-related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, HTS, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; ITAR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound international shipments to the United States from origin through final delivery.
• Prepare and review shipping and trade documentation (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates, etc.).
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, brokers, carriers, and internal teams to execute imports smoothly.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays, holds, and documentation issues.
• Support customs clearance and regulatory reporting; ensure accuracy of entries.
• Analyze costs and performance to identify savings opportunities.
• Maintain import records and generate regular performance reports.
• Drive SOP improvements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
