Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Import Specialist to manage ocean and air import shipments from origin to final destination. The role requires mid-level experience and involves ensuring on-time delivery, documentation for customs clearance, and strict regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams, maintain precise records, and utilize MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations
• Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system
