Job summary

Fireworks is seeking an Immigration Specialist on a contract basis to manage a high-volume portfolio of immigration cases, including work visas and permanent residency filings. You will guide new hires and existing employees through policies, coordinate with external counsel, and stay current on evolving U.S.

immigration law. The role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to escalate and collaborate with People Partners to ensure timely, compliant outcomes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing employment-based immigration cases.
• Experience with H-1B, O-1, L-1, TN and permanent residency processes.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law and policy changes.
• Ability to handle high case volumes with deadlines.
• Clear, empathetic communication for anxious employees.
• Judgment on when to escalate to People Partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage full portfolio of immigration cases, including visa and permanent residency filings.
• Initiate work visa applications globally; focus on U.S. with global locations.
• Serve as first contact for employees with immigration questions.
• Escalate complex cases with context and options to leaders.
• Collaborate with People Operations to keep policies accurate.
• Stay updated on U.S. immigration law and policy changes.
