Job summary

Global Roles is seeking an ICT Project Manager to drive delivery of technology and infrastructure initiatives worldwide, coordinating with UN entities, field missions, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

You will manage scope, timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables, translate business needs into technical plans, and lead governance activities to ensure projects meet objectives and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 7 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree (or equivalent) with 5 years.
• Experience delivering technology projects with enterprise infrastructure, data centers, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders in distributed environments.
• PrINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional certification (desired).
• Experience with international organizations, UN entities, or similarly complex environments (desired).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ICT infrastructure and technology projects from initiation to closure across global teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues and resources.
• Ensure roles, responsibilities, priorities and deadlines are understood by all stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and elevate issues requiring management attention.
• Lead project governance activities including boards, reviews and progress reporting.
• Manage deliverables, costs, timelines and resource utilization.
• Lead delivery of enterprise infrastructure, data centers, cloud, hybrid environments, and modernization.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables and plans.
• Coordinate assessments, migration planning, readiness, deployment, transition and handover with UNHQ/UNGSC.
• Ensure documentation, architecture designs and SOPs meet requirements and timelines.
• Engage stakeholders across dispersed teams with clear communications and decisions.
• Facilitate coordination among HQ, field offices and missions throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge-management materials.
