Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks an ICT Officer to lead the Global Office (GO) ICT unit in Washington. The role ensures timely ICT services, standard compliance, and strategic alignment with organizational priorities across programs and partners.

Responsibilities include supervising the ICT team, coordinating incident response, maintaining documentation, and driving digital innovation while safeguarding data and systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networks, and security practices.
• Experience in cybersecurity compliance, incident response, and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage ICT operations within the IOM Global Office (GO) in Washington.
• Coordinate ICT service delivery and maintain alignment with IOM policies and standards.
• Serve as ICT liaison with programs, cybersecurity initiatives, UN agencies, NGOs, and vendors.
• Supervise and train the GO ICT team, including incident response and Tier 1 support.
• Develop and maintain ICT documentation, SOPs, BCP, and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Oversee procurement of ICT equipment/services and ensure compliance with standards.
• Advise management on ICT infrastructure optimization and security controls.
