Job summary

The Global R&D Chef at Magnum Ice Cream Co. leads culinary innovation for Ben & Jerry's, translating consumer trends into breakthrough ice cream concepts and gold-standard prototypes. This corporate role focuses on strategy as much as kitchen execution, hosting a dynamic R&D kitchen and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will drive end-to-end development, oversee inspiration-to-launch processes, and mentor teams while representing the brand across markets and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts or similar with experience in Food Science, or Food Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate culinary innovation or branded food development.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into strategic innovation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive an always-on innovation mindset, translating trends into opportunities for Ben & Jerry's.
• Lead culinary innovation from inspiration to launch across global programs.
• Develop concepts, flavors, prototypes and gold standards for multiple programs.
• Inspire teams via trend immersions, workshops, and cross-functional sessions.
• Build alignment across Brand, Insights, R&D, Supply Chain and external partners.
