Job summary

Elevate Healthcare seeks a Global Director of Human Resources to lead our worldwide people strategy and HR operations across the United States, Canada, and international locations. You will partner with the CHRO and business leaders to align people programs with growth objectives.

The role requires strategic, hands-on leadership; overseeing talent management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR analytics while building high-performing teams across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience within complex, multi-site, global organizations.
  • 5+ years leading HR teams and/or HR Business Partner functions across multiple locations or regions.
  • Experience supporting global operations and navigating diverse employment practices, cultures, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience utilizing HR technology, AI-enabled solutions, workforce analytics, and HR metrics to drive business outcomes.

  • Advise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Lead HR operations across multiple countries, ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Oversee HR policies, processes, metrics, and best practices to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition support, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness programs.

Job description

The Global Director of Human Resources is a key member of the HR leadership team responsible for leading the Company's global people strategy, HR operations, and workforce initiatives across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, and other international locations.

Reporting directly to the CHRO, this leader will oversee global HR operations and the HR Business Partner function while partnering closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives. This role will drive operational excellence across talent management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, leadership development, and HR analytics.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on HR leader with experience supporting global organizations and leading high-performing teams through growth and change.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute global HR strategies that support organizational growth and business objectives.
  • Advise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, development, and continuous improvement.
Global HR Operations
  • Lead HR operations across multiple countries, ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Enhance HR policies, processes, metrics, and best practices to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Leverage workforce analytics and HR data to support business decisions and operational excellence.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Provide leadership in employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across global operations.
  • Partner with legal counsel and external advisors to mitigate risk and address complex employment matters.
Talent & Organizational Development
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition support, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Support organizational transformation and change management efforts.
Compensation, Benefits & Analytics
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to administer competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs.
  • Oversee salary planning, incentive administration, and market benchmarking activities.
  • Utilize HR metrics and workforce analytics to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners and HR professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience within complex, multi-site, global organizations.
  • 5+ years leading HR teams and/or HR Business Partner functions across multiple locations or regions.
