Illumina is seeking a Staff HRIS Analyst to lead Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits integrations and payroll interfaces. You will drive end-to-end process design and data integrity across a global, high‑growth environment.

You will plan releases, validate configurations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure payroll readiness and accurate reporting. Strong data governance and privacy controls are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and payroll-related integrations in a complex organization.
• Experience defining data mappings, reconciliation methods, exception handling, and test coverage for HR, payroll, and benefits interfaces.
• Experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and recommending practical system or process solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior functional owner for Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and payroll-related integrations, including roadmap and enhancement priorities.
• Lead end‑to‑end solution design across time capture and approval, absence eligibility and accruals, benefit enrollment and life events, and payroll data flows.
• Diagnose complex system, interface, security, and data issues with Payroll, Benefits, technical teams, and external vendors within required processing timelines.
• Lead global HR technology initiatives from scope, requirements, dependencies, schedule, risk, communications, and change planning through stabilization.
