Job summary

Narvar Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to serve as the global HRBP for R&D and the HR lead for the India workforce based in Bengaluru.

You’ll pair strategic HRBP judgment with hands-on HR operations, partnering with engineering and R&D leaders across countries on talent strategy, org design, and performance, while owning India HR operations, compliance, culture, and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of progressive HR experience, including 5–7 years as a lead HRBP for tech or R&D.
• End-to-end India HR ownership with compliance and operations responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour law and POSH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D and engineering leadership across geographies on talent strategy and org design.
• Lead org design, workforce planning, and location strategy for R&D.
• Drive talent lifecycle: performance, promotions, succession, leadership development for tech teams.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on hiring plans and offer strategy for scarce skills.
• Own India onboarding/offboarding, background verification, and audits.
• Manage India HR compliance, policy, payroll interfaces, and vendor relationships.
• Act as India HR leader with accountability to India leadership, facilities, and admin.
