Job summary

Milliman is seeking an HR Service Manager to lead a global HR Service Team, including U.S. and India-based staff. You will own the service delivery model, governance, data quality, and continuous improvement across HR administrative processes.

The role drives onboarding, data changes, compensation changes, and status changes while advancing automation and scalable practices to support growth. Travel may be required to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR operations experience, including at least 3 years leading an HR service center or shared services.
• Experience managing supervisors or other people leaders.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed or global teams.
• Experience overseeing employee lifecycle transactions and centralizing HR processes.
• Experience using HR technology, HRIS, and data privacy controls.
• Ability to establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and capacity planning.
• Strong partnerships with business stakeholders and effective communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the global HR Service Team, including oversight of India-based members and HR Service Associates across locations.
• Provide leadership for delivery of HR administrative services across regions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing within SLAs.
• Partner with business leaders and HR to address service gaps and develop practical solutions.
• Centralize and standardize HR processes, driving automation and scalable service practices.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and improve HR processes with HRIS and other stakeholders.
• Maintain SOPs, standards, and quality controls aligned with policies and compliance.
• Resolve complex service delivery issues and identify root causes to reduce risk.
• Oversee data integrity, recordkeeping, and HR controls; manage data audits and reconciliations.
• Establish training and knowledge management for the global team; ensure resources and procedures are documented.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, volumes, and staffing; communicate results to HR leadership.
