Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Sr. HR Project Manager in Bloomington, MN to lead cross-functional HR initiatives aligned to global priorities.

You will provide project leadership, governance, and execution discipline across HR structure optimization, compensation priorities, HR technology, process improvements, and operating model transformation. You will manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and delivering meaningful business impact.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, HR, computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of project management applications (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• MS Office tools, Jira proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop and implement full-scale HR project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, roles & responsibilities, budgets, and deliverables.
• Project Execution: Run the projects, manage teams, track progress, and ensure the project delivers expected outcomes within scope, time, and budget.
• Project Communication: Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders in a timely manner and clear fashion.
• Project Tools & Documentation: Utilize PM tools & technology to execute projects; develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with global HR teams, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure project success; coach and motivate team members.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices via postmortems and reports.
• Project Transition: Ensure projects are transitioned to operational support with documentation and training.
• Project Management Capability Building: Establish HR PM standards, tools, governance, templates, and best practices.
