Job summary

Blackhawk Network is seeking an experienced Manager, HR Compliance and Immigration to lead our Global HR Operations team, ensuring policy alignment, regulatory compliance, and hands-on U.S. immigration case management.

This role collaborates with Legal, regional HR partners, and management across the globe. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in HR/OD/Business, 4–5 years HR leadership, HRIS experience (SAP, iCIMS), and a proven ability to design processes, use AI tools to boost efficiency,

Qualifications

Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations.
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to analyze complex information and to define and solve problems.
Leverage AI-driven tools to optimize HR compliance workflows, improve process efficiency, and enhance data accuraacy across the organization.
Experience developing processes, procedures, and polices to reinforce U.S. employment laws.
Strong communications skills; both written and oral with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills.
Self-directed and can work well under pressure, multi-task, and produce results.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
Able to build and maintain process documentation, tools, tracking, etc…
Able to collaborate with teams in different regions - understanding regional needs and nuances.
Able to work with data analytics and make decisions on process and system changes.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to relationship-building, both internally and externally.
Ensure compliance with employee records.
Additional projects and assignments as assigned.

Responsibilities

Identify global compliance gaps and develop roadmap to close gaps.
Manage existing and develop new global company policies.
Partner with regional HR Business Partners to maintain regional policies and procedures.
Partner with Legal counterpart on special projects and compliance related topics.
Process owner for all HR internal controls; coordinates with internal and external auditors regarding audit documentation.
SME for Global HRIS employee lifecycle workflows and training.
Prepare training materials and train users on new processes/functionality.
Ensure compliance of all HR practices and standard Policies, Processes and Procedures.
Onboarding and offboarding compliance for U.S. employees; unemployment claim responses.
Collaborate with HR Technology for system changes and data governance.
Develop and monitor a global data audit strategy for data integrity.
Own escalating issues with HR Technology Partners.
Support Talent Management on special projects and initiatives.
Provide ongoing support to regional teams for global consistency.
