Job summary

Fivetran + dbt Labs is looking for a driven and proactive HR Operations Administrator to join the People Team in Novi Sad. This onsite role will partner closely with the Sr. HR Operations Partners in EMEA to support local employees and foreign nationals, bringing knowledge of local HR practices and compliance.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until February 2028, with the opportunity to become permanent as the team grows. Based in our Novi Sad office.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in HR or People Operations.
• Experience supporting Serbian employees and foreign nationals.
• Strong communication; simplify complex HR matters.
• Fluent in spoken and written Serbian.
• Knowledge of HR policies, local processes and laws.
• Able to handle confidential, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage documentation for foreign nationals' residence/work permits.
• Coordinate with local counsel and immigration attorney for signatures.
• Submit residence/work permits and visit government offices.
• Submit government insurance applications for foreign nationals.
• Maintain trackers on permit statuses.
• Assist employees with HR questions and routing to sources.
• Provide clerical and administrative HR support.
• Maintain paper and electronic employee files.
• Update Workday HRIS as needed.
• Review and approve employment agreements and benefits enrollment.
• Coordinate with Workplace Ops on Health and Safety programs.
• Act as Whistleblower contact.
• Partner with leaders for all-hands HR Q&A prep.
