Job summary

Cadence Design Systems, Inc. in San Jose, California, seeks a Group Director, HR M&A to shape the people strategy behind strategic transactions and lead global HR M&A execution across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other transformational initiatives.

You will drive end-to-end HR M&A activity, including due diligence, organization design, talent assessment, retention strategy, employee transitions, communications and onboarding in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate HR or related roles, including leading global programs.
• 8+ years of HR M&A experience including due diligence, deal execution, integration and/or separation planning across domestic and international transactions.
• Excellent communication, executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR M&A strategy and execution for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions.
• Build and strengthen the HR M&A operating model, governance, tools and metrics across geographies.
• Partner with executives and deal teams to shape transaction strategy and integration plans.
• Lead due diligence, Day 1 readiness, synergy planning and integration execution.
