Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Lead HR Generalist to drive precise, compliant HR operations for the AMER region in a remote-first setup. You will guide talent development, succession planning, onboarding, culture and engagement, and partners with leadership on HR issues across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with the Americas HR Manager and Global Head of HR to shape HR initiatives globally, leveraging data trends and dashboards for decision making, while supporting travel up to four times a

Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across regions.

Responsibilities

Deliver precise, compliant HR operations across the AMER region.
Collaborate with Americas HR Manager and Global Head of HR to impact all HR regions.
Drive talent development, succession planning, onboarding, culture, engagement initiatives.
Support performance management, organizational design, rewards, and workforce planning.
Partner with HRIS to refine day-to-day HR processes.
Coach managers on employee relations across multiple countries.
Design training programs and developmental initiatives.
Establish trusted regional partnerships with the business.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
