Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in California seeks a strategic, hands-on Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership. Based at our HQ, you will support growth, compliance, employee engagement, and organizational development.

You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll (ADP), and HR policies across multiple sites, driving workforce planning and talent management in a fast-paced international logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience as HR Director, Senior HR Manager, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting multi-site and international operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR operations for a multi-location organization.
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals.
• Drive full-cycle recruitment with emphasis on sales and operations roles.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent management.
• Ensure compliance with California laws and federal requirements.
• Oversee benefits administration and payroll processes (ADP).
• Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and HRIS governance.
• Monitor engagement, organize training and leadership development.
