Moove AV is seeking a Director, Employee Relations & HR Compliance to architect our global compliance strategy and scalable workplace standards. The role spans US, EMEA, and APAC markets, with emphasis on lawful employment practices and cross-border investigations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 7+ years in Employee Relations or HR Compliance.
• Experience managing ER, global employment contracts, and immigration in EMEA/APAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; JD or Master’s in HR/Labor Relations is a strong plus.
• Certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR or similar preferred.
• Deep knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, FCRA and international employment contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR compliance strategy for global expansion; design policies and risk frameworks.
• Develop SOPs for global HR compliance; communicate policy changes to leaders/employees.
• Oversee global background screening with FCRA compliance and international standards.
• Partner with Payroll/Finance for wage/hour compliance; manage final pay timing.
• Oversee mandatory reporting (EEO-1, pay data) and audits; ensure filings.
• Monitor laws across US, EMEA, APAC and implement updates.
• Draft responses to legal claims with counsel.
• Create and maintain Employee Handbooks and compliant policies.
• Design standard offer letters, employment agreements, confidentiality/IP agreements.
• Oversee mobility and immigration compliance; sponsorship and I-9/E-Verify checks.
