Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Commercial Director, Intercontinental - Hematology to lead strategic marketing and sales efforts across MEAR regions, Australia and beyond. You will partner with commercial directors to build annual plans, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure alignment with global Heme strategies.

The role requires strong financial acumen, international experience, and proven ability to influence across complex matrices while driving innovative commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA highly preferred.
• 5 years relevant Sales and Marketing experience at director or senior manager level.
• International / multicultural experience strongly preferred.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Strong financial & business acumen is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and manage matrix relationships.
• Agent of change with innovative mindset.
• Learning agility; open to feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of assigned LBUs market dynamics and insights.
• Map opportunities from business and financial perspectives to support growth.
• Support Affiliate Brand team strategy, operations and execution.
• Partner with NPI/commercial leads to develop annual business plan.
• Coordinate with Pipeline Commercialization Teams on early assets touchpoints (TP3, TP4).
• Shape Brand/TA P&L with appropriate resource allocation.
• Represent Intercontinental voice in Global platforms and guidance.
