Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a (Senior) Director of Health Financing to lead a global program and manage a large team across Africa and Asia, reporting to the VP Health Systems and NCDs. The role focuses on strategy, program execution, donor engagement, and external representation to governments and funders.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• :10-15+ years of experience in health financing and/or public health
• :Strong analytics and technical depth in health financing
• :Excellent communicator able to translate complex issues for diverse audiences
• :Experience in donor stewardship and large multi-year grants

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for CHAI's health financing work across global programs.
• Oversee delivery of health financing programs across focus countries with country teams.
• Lead budget optimization, risk management, and finance reform initiatives.
• Drive donor engagement, proposal development, and funding relationships.
• Represent CHAI externally with ministries, donors, and financial institutions.
