Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to head the global Prime Derivatives Services Operations, overseeing multiple locations and an outsourced partner. You will own end-to-end delivery across futures, OTC clearing, FX prime brokerage, and related services, ensuring risk controls, regulatory compliance, and service continuity.

Vous will partner with PDS leadership to drive strategy, client service excellence and data-driven improvements, while guiding a large, global team and managing budget,

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of how the function integrates with the business division / Group.
• Broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within own discipline.
• Up-to-date relevant sector / functional knowledge and insight into external market developments / initiatives.
• Advanced analytical skills and interpretative thinking.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and legal environment associated with the business.
• Ability to manage a large global team or sub-function and lead other people managers.
• Ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Futures & Options / Listed Derivatives, OTC Clearing, FX Prime Brokerage, PDS Treasury, collateral and margin management, client money protection, futures deliveries, options expiry, fees and commissions, and client service and strategy.
• Knowledge of operational risk, controls, regulatory obligations and service continuity.
• Ability to manage headcount, cost, productivity and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Prime Derivatives Services Operations organisation across multiple locations and an outsourced service provider relationship.
• Own end-to-end operational delivery of PDS to clients across listed derivatives, OTC Clearing, FX Prime Brokerage, Treasury, collateral and margin, client money, deliveries, expiries, fees and commissions, client service and strategy.
• Maintain a safe, stable and resilient operating environment with ownership of operational risk, controls, regulatory obligations and service continuity.
• Act as the senior Operations partner to PDS business leadership and contribute to commercial and strategic decision-making.
• Set a proactive, strategic and insight-led client service model.
• Drive automation, simplification and strategic transformation across PDS Operations.
• Establish a globally consistent operating model with clear accountability, standards and governance.
• Own the PDS Operations strategic portfolio and commercial agenda.
• Manage headcount, cost, productivity and investment decisions.
• Build global leadership, talent and succession models.
• Represent PDS Operations with clients, business and functional leadership, Technology, Risk, other partners, CCPs, exchanges and external market participants.
• Manage operations, compliance, risk initiatives and processes within the business area.
• Develop KPIs, monitor operational data and identify process improvements.
• Coach and support operational professionals and foster a safe environment for colleagues.
