Abbott is seeking a transformational engineering executive to lead global systems, software, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, data, DevOps, quality, and UX for the AlinIQ preanalytics portfolio. This leader will define and execute the technology strategy for next‑gen lab automation solutions that optimize specimen flow, throughput and quality.

The successful candidate partners with Product, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver an integrated software and automation ecosystem

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Fifteen+ years software engineering and technology leadership.
• Ten+ years leading large global engineering organizations.
• Experience with onshore/offshore development teams and outcomes-based partnerships.
• Experience delivering complex hardware-software integrated systems in regulated industries.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute long-term technology strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Lead modernization spanning legacy platforms, cloud-native SaaS, and edge computing.
• Drive cross-domain engineering excellence across globally distributed teams.
• Oversee development of workflow orchestration, robotics integration, telemetry, and analytics.
• Advance DevOps, security practices, and software lifecycle management.
• Lead AI, ML, digital twin, and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Ensure secure handling of PHI/PII and privacy-by-design engineering.
