Job summary
Abbott Laboratories is seeking a visionary technology leader to head the global platform software engineering organization responsible for the AlinIQ Digital Health Platform.
You will own engineering execution, platform architecture, cloud strategy, cybersecurity, interoperability, AI enablement, data platforms, developer experience, and operational excellence across Abbott Diagnostics’ digital solutions, including AlinIQ Insight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, platform leadership, or enterprise architecture.
- 10+ years of experience leading global engineering organizations across multiple regions.
- 5+ years working with onshore and offshore development teams.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS/cloud-native platforms and data-intensive ecosystems.
- Expertise in platform APIs, identity services, data services, and developer tooling.
- Strong track record with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the global platform software engineering organization.
- Lead engineering execution, architecture, cloud strategy, and cybersecurity.
- Drive interoperability, AI enablement, and data platforms for Abbott Diagnostics.
- Shape developer experience, toolchains, and operational excellence across the ecosystem.
- Modernize legacy applications into scalable, resilient cloud-native solutions.
