Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Director, Translational Medicine and Pediatric Planning to lead integrated pediatric development strategy across the portfolio. This role connects disease biology, nonclinical findings, biomarkers, clinical pharmacology, and data to decisions on indication selection and development progression, with accountable pediatric planning.

Working across indications, you will partner with asset teams to develop Pediatric Study Plans and Pediatric Investigation

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medicine or pharmaceutical sciences.
• 12+ years in clinical research or drug development.
• 7+ years leading cross-functional clinical-development or pediatric strategy.
• Experience with PSPs/PIPs, waivers, deferrals, and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead pediatric development strategy across the portfolio from candidate transition to lifecycle management.
• Develop and execute Pediatric Study Plans and Pediatric Investigation Plans, including waivers and deferrals.
• Create integrated translational strategies linking biology, biomarkers, and clinical endpoints to decisions.
• Evaluate adult to pediatric extrapolation and age-group sequencing opportunities.
• Partner with multiple functions to define starting doses, exposure targets, and age-appropriate regimens.
• Own regulatory deliverables and support meetings with FDA, EMA, and other authorities.
