Job summary

Nabors, based in Houston, seeks a People Operations Shared Services Manager (Finance) to lead employee lifecycle services, onboarding, offboarding, and HR data governance across multiple business units.

The role partners with Recruiting, Legal, IT, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance to align HR technology with business priorities, improve the employee experience, and support growth. Strong leadership and data analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Eight or more years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR shared services, including at least three years leading teams or major programs.
• Experience leading employee lifecycle services in a complex, multi-location, or global organization.
• Experience managing service-center operations, workflows, service levels, and continuous improvement.
• Experience governing HR systems and data quality, reporting, and security coordination.
• Knowledge of recruiting operations, onboarding, and pre-employment processes.
• Strong knowledge of People Operations Shared Services processes, HRIS platforms, and data governance.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead People Operations Shared Services across employee inquiries, onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle transactions.
• Establish service standards, escalation protocols, and KPIs including service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee recruiting operations support, vendor services, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members; manage capacity and performance.
• Own governance for HR systems, security, integrations, and production support.
• Drive requirements, testing, deployment readiness, and adoption of system capabilities.
• Maintain procedures, knowledge articles, and governance standards for compliant execution.
• Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and access controls; coordinate with data owners.
• Oversee dashboards, reporting, and workforce metrics to inform decisions.
• Develop a continuous-improvement roadmap for standardization and self-service.
