Job summary

Confidential, a leading financial services firm in New York, seeks a Head of HR Operations to design scalable HR processes and drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. You will own onboarding, compensation operations, and HR technology roadmaps while partnering with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and leadership to enable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive experience in HR Operations leadership including team management.
• Experience designing and implementing HR processes, programs, and frameworks.
• Experience owning compensation programs including job architecture and pay governance.
• Experience administering ATS; ORC experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting M&A due diligence and post-merger HR integration.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle, compliance, and workforce administration.
• Experience evaluating AI/automation tools in HR context.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and senior leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong HR data analytics to drive decisions; attention to detail and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Own onboarding strategy and optimize programs for a growing global workforce.
• Develop and manage performance management cycles and governance.
• Own compensation operations, including job architecture and pay bands.
• Establish scalable workforce planning and headcount tracking.
• Maintain standardized processes for promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Evaluate and optimize HR technologies and data systems for reporting.
• Drive automation while maintaining controls and audit readiness.
• Oversee ATS, ORC alignment, and candidate pipeline improvements.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to streamline workflows.
