Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Head of Payment Operations for PayPal Bank (in formation) to lead end-to-end payment operations, settlement, and dispute resolution. The role reports to the COO and ensures a safe, scalable framework aligned with the bank's plan, including liquidity, controls, and regulatory compliance, with coordination across regulators and risk teams.

The position requires 10+ years in senior payments or banking operations, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead payment and settlement operations for the Bank, including card acquiring settlement and ACH processing.
• Oversee deposit operations, loan funding and settlement execution in partnership with Treasury.
• Ensure regulatory adherence and network requirement compliance across operations.
• Develop KPIs and report material issues to the COO and governance committees.
• Coordinate with regulators, risk management, Audit and affiliate service providers.
