Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Director of Operational Procurement to align Operations from inception through the asset lifecycle. You will lead OFCI sourcing for global data centers, bridging Construction, Engineering, and Operations to optimize long-term performance and cost of ownership.

You will shape strategy, playbooks, and teams, driving commercial excellence and cross-functional alignment in a hyper-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in procurement or supply chain with data center experience.
• Experience owning OFCI or owner-furnished/contractor-installed delivery.

Responsibilities

• Embed operability and total cost of ownership in early-stage sourcing and specs.
• Standardize the OFCI operating model and RACI.
• Ensure asset-data continuity and spare parts availability during turnover to steady state.
• Execute global category strategies for OFCI equipment and critical services.
• Use market intelligence to optimize make-vs-buy decisions and secure capacity.
• Structure and negotiate capital, construction, and facilities contracts including SLAs.
• Own change orders, back-charges, and renewals across the global fleet.
• Establish supplier performance scorecards and escalation paths.
• Mitigate supply risk with dual-sourcing and compliant onboarding.
• Build and mentor a procurement team with scalable governance.
