Carbon is seeking a Head of Production & Supply Chain Operations to lead our hardware production team and the end-to-end logistics and inventory function. This role drives continuous improvement, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency while managing global inventory and freight.

Based in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara with in-office work five days a week. The ideal leader thrives in hands-on manufacturing, builds high-performing teams, and collaborates across production, engineering, and quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing or production management with team leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Supply Chain.
• Experience with logistics, freight, and inventory functions and leadership of related teams.
• Proven ability to build, develop and motivate teams in hands-on manufacturing.
• Strong technical aptitude for electromechanical assemblies and processes.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and resource planning.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving in cross-functional settings.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop manufacturing technicians and logistics staff with accountability culture.
• Set performance expectations, coach, review and train across production and logistics.
• Ensure safety; enforce SOPs; track safety metrics and incidents.
• Own cost and efficiency; manage budgets and optimize materials/utilization.
• Oversee inventory, freight, and global goods flow; ensure regulatory compliance.
