Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Head of Hardware Manufacturing Operations to build the hardware ops function from 0 to 1.

You will own the full hardware manufacturing operations and lead domestic and international suppliers to deliver physical AI hardware across automotive, defense, and other sectors. You will recruit and lead a multidisciplinary team of OPMs, Manufacturing Engineers, and Reliability/Quality Engineers, drive NPI, DFx, mass production, and oversee supplier audits, BOM

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
12+ years in hardware operations and supply chain management.
7+ years leading engineering and operations teams (OPMs, MEs, QA/Reliability).

Responsibilities

Own the hardware manufacturing operations function from 0 to 1.
Select and manage domestic and international suppliers and global supply chains.
Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of OPMs, MEs, and QA/Reliability Engineers.
Drive NPI, DFx, quality assurance, and mass production setups for hardware.
Oversee hardware product deliverables across multiple industries.
Manage supplier selection, yield optimization, contract negotiation, and factory audits.
