Job summary

Sonos is seeking a Sr. Director, EE Sourcing & Materials to lead global electronics sourcing strategy and the materials organization.

You will own end-to-end lifecycle of electronic components, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and global material planning. The role requires deep technical fluency in electronics components, strong leadership, and executive presence to collaborate across Product Design, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in Electronics Sourcing, Materials Management, or Supply Chain with component industry experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role directly managing a global team (10–20 people).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills (should-cost modeling, buffer strategy).
• Proven ability to build relationships with teams and suppliers; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of sourcing and materials professionals to evolve electronics sourcing strategy.
• Direct evaluation of electronic components against product roadmap and requirements.
• Develop and maintain a commodity strategy aligned with Sonos product offerings.
• Drive design-for-sourcing decisions with Product Design and Engineering.
• Lead executive supplier engagements including negotiations and contracts.
• Oversee global materials management to provide real-time visibility and buffer optimization.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and FPA on strategic buys and material purchases.
• Manage end-of-production planning for legacy products and EO/Inventory risk.
• Build a center of excellence for supply-demand management to enable growth.
