Morningstar's Chicago-based Head of Data Operations leads a ~700-person global team responsible for acquiring, enriching, and delivering investment data at scale. The role drives modernization of platforms, workflows, and operating models with AI-enabled capabilities and strong governance.

You will partner with Data Strategy, Product, Research, Engineering, and Architecture to execute the data roadmap, improve quality, and accelerate data-driven solutions for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive leadership leading data acquisition/operations or transformation.
• Experience with large-scale data ecosystems and modernization initiatives.
• Ability to partner with Product, Technology, Data Strategy, Research and Commercial teams.
• Willingness to travel to engage with global teams including Madrid and Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global organization for acquiring, managing, enriching, and delivering data at scale.
• Translate strategic data priorities into scalable operational capabilities and tech solutions.
• Drive agility and efficiency while upholding data quality standards for each product.
• Establish governance, metrics, and operating models to ensure ongoing improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive enterprise-wide operational and technology outcomes.
