Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Senior Director, Compensation & Analytics to own the global compensation philosophy, governance, and analytics backbone. This role partners with the VP, People Operations & Rewards and CHRO/CFO to scale compensation strategies across multiple geographies and post‑acquisition scenarios.

You will build a global team (starting with one India-based report), evolve job architecture, refine benchmarking, and drive data‑driven decision making with a focus on equity, retention, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in compensation and/or people analytics.
• 3+ years leading a global team.
• Experience with M&A compensation integration or equity harmonization.
• Ability to build predictive analytics and dashboards from scratch.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of Cognite's compensation model and job architecture.
• Manage annual compensation cycles end-to-end (salary review, promotions).
• Ensure pay transparency, compliance governance, and annual reporting across geographies.
• Lead external and ESG reporting related to compensation metrics.
• Develop People Dashboard and predictive attrition analytics to support decision making.
• Support integration with Schneider Electric/AVEVA during M&A scenarios.
