Job summary

Westlake seeks a Sr. Manager, Corporate Security to lead the global security strategy, policies, and standards across all sites and subsidiaries worldwide. You will guide executives, manufacturing stakeholders, and regional HSE teams, ensuring safety of personnel, property, and assets.

The role requires extensive security expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with IT for integrated controls and incident response. Travel readiness and TWIC eligibility may be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in security roles with leadership experience in large, international manufacturing companies preferred.
• Deep knowledge of security operations, laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Experience with change management and policy implementation.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal abilities.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Positive, proactive, and accountable attitude.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision and development of the Corporate Security Team.
• Develop and maintain a global expert network across sites and regional HSE teams.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to implement security policies and standards.
• Define and execute security strategy, programs, risk assessments, and actions to mitigate risks.
• Oversee global security operating model, including guard force management and vendor governance.
• Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity to integrate physical and information security controls.
• Monitor travel security platforms and coordinate responses to security events.
• Lead investigations and coordinate with law enforcement for critical threats.
• Coordinate Corporate Crisis Management responses and budget planning.
• Develop security performance metrics, audits, and reporting for continuous improvement.
