Job summary

State Street Corporation in Boston seeks Global Head of Alpha Data Operations to set strategy, operating model, and governance for data across the Alpha ecosystem worldwide.

The role partners with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external providers to deliver resilient data services, drive growth, and ensure client confidence through production readiness and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of leadership experience in investment operations, data ops, asset servicing, or Alpha services.
• Proven accountability for complex global services, data integrity, risk & client outcomes at scale.
• Deep expertise in investment data management, Security Master and reference data, reconciliations, production support, controls.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back operating models, trading, client/regulatory reporting; CRIMS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Alpha Data Operations strategy with a scalable operating model and clear accountabilities.
• Own global service performance and data-readiness for CRIMS trading, client and regulatory reporting, and downstream ops.
• Serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for material client, data, asset-servicing, and production issues; direct remediation and communications.
• Build partnerships with senior leaders across client, Front Office, Product, Technology, and Operations to align demand and resilience.
• Set standards for service governance, transparency, and executive reporting; align with Alpha Data Services strategy.
