Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Global Director of Growth and Operations Planning in Cleveland, OH, to lead strategic scheduling, production placement, and demand forecasting across the division. This on-site role partners with commercial, manufacturing, and technical teams to deliver superior customer experiences.

The position requires deep operations, supply chain expertise and the ability to drive change across global locations within the Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience working in manufacturing; 7 years in Operations planning, supply chain, procurement, or related areas.
• Travel up to 25% is required.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Export-controlled data access eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy for maximizing scheduling, product placement and work transfer across the division to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Lead production rationalization and optimize production, supplies, and transportation.
• Assess and manage shipping plans by plant or customer to hit turn time and delivery forecasts.
• Determine growth strategy for products in the market segment with key stakeholders.
• Support market analysis and accurate demand forecasting.
• Lead decision making for new production placement across global locations.
