Job summary

Swissport in Seattle, WA, seeks an experienced ramp operations manager to efficiently direct ground handling services, ensuring safety and quality across operations for our aviation customers.

You will plan operating budgets, manage manpower and equipment, enforce SOPs, monitor KPIs, and lead supervisors to achieve service levels while building strong relationships with airport authorities and control agencies. This is a full‑time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• College level degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in a management role required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, technical, and regulatory documents.
• Problem-solving ability with diverse variables.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of operating budgets for the following year.
• Efficient resource planning (manpower, equipment).
• Comply with Swissport SOPs and policies.
• Ensure service levels with passenger service and ramp operations.
• Maintain relationships with customers and authorities (Airport Management, Customs, Immigration).
• Lead supervisors and ramp staff with strong communication and a positive work environment.
