Job summary

SpaceX in Washington, DC is seeking a Government Program Development Manager (International) to identify international SATCOM opportunities and drive engagement with allied governments. You will build a robust sales pipeline and shape strategy for Starshield programs, delivering data-driven insights to leadership.

The role requires 3+ years in federal security sales or business development, a Master’s degree or MBA, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development or account management within the Intelligence Community or broader federal national security space.
• Experience with international export control and telecommunications licensing.
• Experience in telecommunications or defense industry is preferred.
• Ability to manage complex government sales cycles and coordinate with legal, contracts, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify new international SATCOM business opportunities and expand space sensing, satellite communications and AI solutions into new programs.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline and forecast in short- and long-term horizons.
• Deliver insights from data analysis of international markets and funding profiles to aid executive decision making.
• Communicate and present Starshield capabilities to international governments.
• Support development of complex proposals including pricing, strategy, and win themes.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including legal, contracts, engineering, mission management, and finance.
• Refine engagement roadmap based on strategy, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
