Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic Food Production Supervisor in Boston to oversee daily production, lead a team of supervisors and helpers, and ensure meals meet strict deadlines and safety standards.

You will partner with the Food Production Manager to plan training, staffing, and performance development while upholding HACCP guidelines and company PPE protocols. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in high-volume food service/manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and sustain long periods of standing.
• Proficient culinary knowledge of terms, procedures, and practices.
• Hands-on approach with urgency and responsiveness.
• Flexible scheduling (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• HACCP and general food safety knowledge required.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the food production department, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead and manage a team of helpers, junior supervisors, and supervisors.
• Ensure meals are prepared and packed to meet stringent deadlines and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Food Production Manager to plan training and staffing needs.
• Train new team members and monitor performance, providing ongoing support.
