Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Global Genie Sales Leader to guide a team of specialists and drive the Genie business worldwide. You will partner with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Sales Leadership to modernize BI, democratize data access for non-technical users, and operationalize conversational AI in production analytics workflows.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud platform, or developer platform sales.
• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing enterprise sales or specialist teams.
• Demonstrated success building new categories or scaling new product businesses.
• Previous Sales experience in fast paced innovative start up companies in domains such as cowork, search and ai/bi and conversational ai.
• Strong understanding of modern application architectures, including APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and distributed applications.
• Experience selling into CIO, CTO, architecture, and platform engineering organizations.
• Ability to lead complex multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• Proven record of exceeding revenue targets in highly competitive markets.
• Ability to translate technical platform capabilities into business value for executives and developers.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue Growth and exceed quarterly and annual targets for Genie.
• Develop pipeline across legacy BI migration, AI-driven analytics, and enterprise-wide data access.
• Establish Databricks as the primary conversational analytics platform for customers.
• Create repeatable sales plays to land and expand adoption.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing Genie Sales Specialist team.
• Coach the team on complex deal strategy, qualification, and executive engagement.
• Partner with regional sales leadership to integrate specialists into account plans and territory strategies.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and GTM teams on customer requirements and market dynamics.
