Genmab is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the operations and evolution of our Databricks analytics platform and broader BI ecosystem.

You will own Databricks administration, Unity Catalog, and Genie AI/BI, while ensuring governance, security, and lifecycle management across Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.

The role focuses on moving from traditional dashboards to governed, metadata-driven, self-service analytics, partnering with data product owners and governance teams.

Qualificações

• BS degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5-8+ years in data platforms or BI environments.
• 3+ years administering enterprise analytics platforms.
• Hands-on Databricks experience required.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and enterprise BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and improve the enterprise Databricks platform with governance and reliability.
• Manage Databricks workspace, access, compute, Unity Catalog integration, and cost optimization.
• Set platform standards, procedures, monitoring, and lifecycle management for analytics capabilities.
• Serve as lead for Databricks AI/BI and Genie, driving design and deployment of conversational analytics.
• Partner with data product owners and data stewards to ensure metadata, trusted data, and governance.
• Develop standards for Genie and AI/BI, including semantic definitions and access controls.
• Maintain the broader BI ecosystem including Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.
• Rationalize BI tool usage and reduce fragmentation while supporting critical analytics.
• Ensure integration between Databricks, Unity Catalog, semantic layers, and downstream BI.
• Collaborate with governance, security, infra, and data teams for platform controls.
• Monitor usage, performance, reliability, and cost to improve analytics platform experience.
• Evaluate new Databricks capabilities to improve self-service and governance.
• Act as escalation point for analytics platform capabilities.
• Drive adoption of modern analytics while maintaining support for existing BI platforms.
