Job summary

Eftsure is seeking a seasoned General Counsel to lead global legal, risk and compliance across the US, APAC and Europe. You will provide strategic guidance to the CEO, Board and leadership while overseeing privacy, data protection, governance and regulatory matters.

You will negotiate complex agreements, manage a scalable compliance program, and mentor legal teams across regions. This role requires exceptional judgement, commercial acumen, and hands-on leadership in a fast-growing SaaS

Qualifications

• Requires JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US state.
• 15+ years of post-qualification legal experience, including substantial in-house experience.
• Experience as a General Counsel or senior legal leader in a scale-up tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership on legal, risk and compliance strategy.
• Lead Legal, Risk and Compliance across US, APAC and Europe.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Oversee data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead M&A activities and other corporate transactions.
