Job summary

Sifflet is seeking a General Counsel to lead all legal and compliance matters as we scale across Europe and the US. You will advise the CEO and leadership, draft and negotiate enterprise SaaS contracts, DPAs, and NDAs, and shape governance, fundraising, and equity programs.

Ideal candidates are French bar-certified with 8+ years in high-growth SaaS/tech, fluent in French and English, and ready to manage cross-border regulatory requirements and international employment matters.

Qualifications

French bar-certified lawyer with 8+ years experience in SaaS/tech.
Experience in corporate governance, fundraising, and data protection (GDPR).
Familiarity with US law and international expansion.
Excellent communicator able to translate legal concepts for business.
Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

Lead the Legal Function and scale the legal department across Europe and the US.
Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS agreements, DPAs, NDAs, and partnerships.
Support governance, shareholder relations, and equity/ESOP administration; advise on financing rounds.
Ensure GDPR, EU data/AI compliance, and security standards; monitor AI regulation changes.
Provide guidance on French labor law and international employment matters.
Support hiring and subsidiary setup in new markets; cross-border collaboration with US teams.
