Job summary

CRS is seeking a Senior Advisor, GCF Pipeline and Capture Lead to drive the development and advancement of its global Green Climate Fund pipeline. You will oversee donor intelligence, capture management, pipeline governance, and proposal readiness, ensuring country teams have guidance, staffing, and tools to advance competitive bids.

The role emphasizes collaboration across CRS units and external partners. The position focuses on GCF while exploring opportunities with other climate funds,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate donor intelligence into actionable strategies.
• Experience leading pipeline governance, capture management, and proposal readiness.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple country programs, regional teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong writing, synthesis, facilitation, and judgment for complex decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead intelligence gathering, strategic priorities, and funding opportunities.
• Maintain CRS' global GCF pipeline, including capture plans and readiness.
• Coordinate with country programs, GREM, PIQA, and CFSU to advance ideas to proposals.
• Clarify roles for RFPs, proposal coordinators, and country teams; staff and onboard accordingly.
• Establish feedback loops to capture lessons and improve pipeline processes.
• Maintain resources and templates for climate funds engagement and proposals.
• Represent CRS in planning forums and external engagements with partners.
