Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Vice President, Global Business Services (GBS) to lead a large, globally distributed organization across end-to-end service towers, centers of excellence, and transformation. You will drive strategy, operating model, performance, and enterprise value delivery with CFO and senior leaders.

The role requires extensive experience in executive leadership of global operations, governance, automation initiatives, and a strong track record of delivering measurable business

Qualifications

• 15+ years in executive leadership of global operations or GBS.
• Proven experience transforming shared services into enterprise value.
• Ability to advise C-suite and manage cross-functional programs.
• Strong financial, operational, governance and risk skills.
• Experience with digital, data, AI, and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve GBS strategy, operating model, and location strategy.
• Drive end-to-end accountability across core processes and data enablement.
• Lead performance system with SLAs, KPIs, and cost-to-serve controls.
• Sponsor a portfolio of transformation initiatives across AI, data, and automation.
• Partner with CFO and business leaders to deliver value and governance.
• Build diverse, high-performing global teams and succession plans.
