Job summary

Mars is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead who will head a team delivering high-quality quarterly and annual external reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, meeting commitments to the Board, Audit Committee, and external banks, investors, and rating agencies, including support for 144A debt offerings.

The role requires 12+ years in financial reporting or technical accounting in a multinational context, Big 4 experience preferred, and CPA certification, with responsibility to reconcile U.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in financial reporting and/or technical accounting in a large multinational.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• 5+ years of line management experience preferred.
• CPA certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver Reporting - Prepare high-quality quarterly and annual external reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP to meet deadlines and commitments to the Board, Audit Committee, and external bank/investor/rating agencies as well as to support 144A debt offerings.
• Complete Reconciliation/Non-GAAP measures - Reconcile U.S. GAAP to management reporting, improving reconciliation of non-GAAP measures.
• Manage other ad hoc and recurring projects and governance activities for the Financial Reporting Pillar as part of the Corporate Controllership Organization.
• Maintain and manage relationship with external auditors to deliver a high-quality year-round audit experience
